OPERATION
The operator releases the holdown at the rear of the platform until the deck is raised and stopped. The operator walks the platform down extending the lip onto the truck bed.
The deck will float up and down with the truck during loading. The standard 16” long lip will extend out and engage a truck bed 12” above and below floor level.
CONSTRUCTION
The platform is a unitized welded structure with 33% deck to beam weld pattern, welds on both sides of the beam, header plate and lug connections for maximum strength. The deck plate, lip plate, beam sections and lugs are constructed of minimum 55,000 PSI yield material.
A standard center deck beam and welded side guards provide additional deck plate support. The continuous rear hinge provides 4” of side-to-side tilt with no pinch point.
The 19” high frame has six solid steel rear supports, an open design for pit cleaning, and a night lock that prevents illegal entry when the door is closed. The front and rear hinge rods are SAE 1045 material, zinc coated with factory applied anti-seize lubricant.
WARRANTY
NORDOCK® guarantees that the INDUSTRIAL™ Series dock levelers will perform as described and to the full satisfaction of the purchaser for one-year from date of receipt or NORDOCK® will repair, replace, or remove the product and refund the purchase price.
In addition, the front and rear hinge assemblies are guaranteed, under specified guidelines, for a period of Twenty-Years. All NORDOCK® dock levelers are designed to exceed ANSI requirements and properly applied comes with a 10-Year structural warranty.
